This photo was shot a few months ago while visiting family back home in Temiscaming, Quebec. I love the natural look and overall vibe of the image. My biggest concern when shooting a portrait is that everything looks natural and in place.
For the final edit, I decided to tweak the greens and yellows to get a soft light modern film vibe. I worked with the highlights of the image to soften up the tone and add to the film-esque look that I was going for.
This edit if a good example of a photo that didn't necessarily "need" editing due to "fixing" issues that could have been solved in camera. The photo is properly exposed and the white balanced stayed the same, yet the image still benefited greatly from the post-production work that was done.
